not forgotten

Hello again my dear blog!

I have not forgotten you, it's just been so busy... moving home, working, and lack of time to do crafty things...

However spring has sprung, so I am hoping I will soon be back making!

In the meantime I leave you with a picture of Vita and her flowery basket... inspired by the beautiful cycling culture in Copenhagen!

See you soon!

whisper, whisper

What will the message say?

A marriage proposal!

This is how Jake proposed to his girlfriend Kristina...

The cutest thing I have seen in a while! And a whisper world record too... very creative and very sweet!

a bit of retro

For a sweet glass case as a present to my mother...

... just because mums deserve presents once and a while!

And also a present to her, on my birthday, as a thank you for the last 27 years...

crochet - baby blanket

It's finished... the little baby blanket I started months ago, and that I took my time to complete it (ok, call it lazyness) is finished!

I used just double crochet, in two colours cotton yarn: canary yellow and peachy peach (not the official names btw!)...

...I like the simplicity and uniformity of one type of stitch... I have always loved the 'less is more'. Once you grow up with Mies' teaching you won't go too far astray.

Now I just need to wait for a friend or family member to give me the good news of a new arrival!

artists - Sweden - again

Here I go again with Swedish art, design and artists...

My passion and inspiration continues to flow from the Scandinavian countries, especially Sweden (I need to see if I can stumble across any good blogs from Norway and Finland... any suggestions?)

Today I discovered that Camilla Engman (artist, designer and illustrator), who is the other half of Studio Violet, of which I immensely adore their work, is friend to Johan of Pergenius (I blogged about his work previously), who's blog is another of my daily inspirations blog-stops...

Reading this post I have now come across Sandra Juto's work... another inspiring photo blog to add to my long list...

How I love finding connections...

Please have a look at Camilla's blog, her own website and Studio Violet's blog too, because I think you'll like their work too. I missed the circus china project (I blogged about it earlier in the year), I was too late and it was all gone by the time I wanted to have a little bit of Studio Violet in my home... next time, next project!

Ahhh and did I mention she has the loveliest dog ever? I would love a companion to share adventures together like Morran..
