for a dear friend, on her birthday I decided to make her a card using watercolours, but a bit retro, of what we used to do when children... although extremely simple I liked the sweetness of colours and simple lines that came out of it...

...the best part is definitely enjoying making a card with love and affection and it had the desired effect... a trip down memory lane.

It's a lovely collaboration between illustrator Lili Scratchy and Nathalie Choux. Their pottery work is adorable, heart-warming and their cheeky characters are sure to make you smile :) (see!)

One day I'd like a little piece by them, for the moment I enjoy reading their blogs here and here, which also keep my french a little in shape...
